Imtiaz Mulla, PE LEED AP
Imtiaz Mulla is a founding partner of Plus Group Consulting Engineering, Imtiaz has accumulated extensive experience in engineering design, lead engineer and project management on a variety of multi-disciplinary specialist building projects, including, restoration of historic and landmark buildings, residential, educational establishments, performing arts centre, museums teaching laboratories and conservatories.
The experience includes developing appropriate multi-disciplinary technical response to client brief, leading the design team from initial programming through final completion of construction, technical input, multi-disciplinary coordination, plan-check, quality control, and supervision and delivery of complex projects.
The project management responsibilities also include proposals, business development activities, project resource and financial management and client liaison.
Meticulous and persevering, his particular interests relate to low energy and green building systems and their effective integration within the architecture and incorporation in building systems.
Imtiaz received his Master of Industrial Design degree and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology in India. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, Maryland and Connecticut.
Marina Solovchuk, PE LEED AP
Marina Solovchuk is a founding partner of Plus Group Consulting Engineering. With over 30 years of professional experience, Marina has design and management skills cultivated from wide-ranging local and international projects in the commercial, residential, educational, health care, performing arts center and infrastructure sector.
She leads the design of plumbing and fire protection systems from initial pre-design stage through final completion of construction, and is responsible for project management including scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and coordination between trades for multi-disciplinary projects.
Her experience in fire protection field includes the design of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and fire cycle sprinkler systems; clean agent fire suppression systems and fire standpipe systems. She has collaborated with fire engineers in developing alternate fire protection strategies in various complex projects.
Her experience in plumbing systems includes the design of the conventional plumbing systems as well as specialties: gray water systems, laboratory waste and vent systems, pure water systems, medical and laboratory gases.
Marina received her Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Belarusian National Technical University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York and Massachusetts.
